Another victim name withheld from Gwollu was forced to share his Momo pin with an undisclosed amount of money transferred at gunpoint before snatching the phone and his new Hadjou motor bike away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the uninterrupted dubious operation mounted by the alleged armed men, a total of four (4) motor bikes were snatched and other valuable belongings including mobile phones and money made away by these robbers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Residence of the two communities, travellers alike and the entire Sissala West district are still in State of shocked, fear and unable to go about their daily routine due to the current insecurity along the Hamile- Gwollu- Tumu- Navrongo highway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subsequently after the robbery, some of the victims reported to the Sissala West District police command and was assured of further investigations, the police appealed to the public to stay calm and allow investigations to continue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Events unfolded the next day after the incident and publication, 28th February 2026 Saturday, with fortune on his side the Tumu Municipal assembly MCE\u2019s driver, Mr Salifu Benard subsequently recovered his particulars with the aid of another driver who passed by the robbery scene. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the brave police officer who took charge of the situation narrated that, &#8220;We started the foot patrols around 6:30am and returned 11:45am. This morning, which was almost 280 metres away from the crime scene&#8221;, said Mr Raymond Duku. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Zini Police sub-station is currently in possession of the recovered items for further identification and possible collection. The police command has since pledged to pursue the matter to the end as further investigations are ongoing to apprehend the criminals involved and bring them to book. <\/p>\n\n\n<div
