The award winning and influential artist of the Sissala music industry in the Upper West Region has issued an official communique on the 14th of February, 2023 of his decision to quit the business after a successful fourteen track album in his career.

Mr Voguworun Abdul Gafar a professional teacher in the Sissala East Municipal with the showbiz name ‘Bwoyfresh’ started his music career in 2016 with his first song “my story” produced in Tumu, “Money” is the last track released in 2022 featuring Apaco Yaboin “My Story” being the only successful album produced containing 14 songs, was released in 20th December, 2020.

Mr Voguworun Abdul Gafar stated that the reasons which summoned his resignation are ninety percent personal and ten percent about certain issues I think cant both move together, he is ill-equipped to divulge his new adventure when asked in an interview by a community radio station in the Sissala West District capital Gwollu, Gwollu FM 91.7mhz three days after his resignation, 16th February, 2023.

The popular artist has however stated he is not resigning from the entertainment industry entirely but only as a music recording artist and assured his return to Showbiz to entertain his people but not through music again.

 The former artist and song writer Voguworun Abdul Gafar also praised himself as he highlighted the successes he made in the music industry before his exit which among were his covid-19 track and its video promo at the peak of the pandemic in 2020 and the following awards, Developmental song of the year-SEA 2020, Developmental artist of the year-SMA 2021, Video of the year: SEA 2019.

“I officially write to inform the general public that, I have officially resigned from the music scene as a recording artist, I will therefore not taking part in any musical performances henceforth. My music contents on social media and other platforms will be pulled down. I wish my colleague artist well in the industry”
