Sissala Blacksmith

One of the oldest human activities that sustained life in all spheres is a blacksmith. From this, our people had common tools such as cutlasses, hoes, spears, and many more inventions.

Interestingly, my paternal grandfather, Bawa fitter was a blacksmith and gradually turned into a mechanic when there was none in Tumu. Not forgetting of a popular blacksmith from Nabugujan community and goes by name Lukong. Blacksmiths were highly admired for their fantastic metalworking and were sometimes seen as using superpowers in their dealings.
