'Glee Jeezy' lunched a six (6) track list EP duped "Dear God", Extended Play
A popular and versatile Afro/Dancehall Artist, Abubakar Mahama with stage name ‘Glee Jeezy’ lunched a six (6) track list EP duped “Dear God”, Extended Play with divers socio, political content of life education.
The launched which took place on the 26th December, 2023 at Zakas guest house located inTumu, the capital of Sissala East Municipality in the Upper West Region, is the biggest successful lunch so far in the Sissala land.
“Dear God” EP launch therefore pulled exorbitant revenue and set the records straight in the Sissala music industry.
MrAbubakarMahama(‘Glee Jeezy’), is a graduate of DrHillaLimann Technical University and the CEO of Team Energy and has been one of thepopular afro/dancehall artist in Ghana in recent times.
In an interview with Dmedia News (dmediagh.com),the popular Sissala Afro/Dancehall Artist described ‘Dear God’ EP set the record straight as first ever successful program launch in the Sissala music industry because at the time of the lunch, there were several other social events goingon in Tumu town that could have flopped the program. He further revealed that the venue Zakars Guest received over 400 attendees adding thatover 200 tickets were even sold before day of the program.
This according to Glee Jeezy has never happened in the industry.
Glee Jeezy stressed in a two (2) minutes audio with the media, that “Truth must be told, among the numerous shows we organized, is like this one perfectly worked out, per the successful nature of the show. None of its kind has ever been organized in the history of Sissala land, even though they sometimes bring other foreign artists from far distances”.
He further indicated that the success of the show need to be documented. This according to him was because with time, it may be forgotten but when it is documented, generations will come to see it.
Mr Bakuoru Haruna, Constituency Youth Organizer of National Democratic Congress for SissalaEast constituency was the highest bidder of the EP who bought the album with a cash amount of Gh₵5,000.00. Hon. Alhaji Kantong Alhassan A.K.A (Alaska), the Upper West Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Partyalso bought the EP with a cash amount of Gh₵2,000.00.
During the interview, Mr Abubakar Glee Jeezy confessed to the Free-Lance Journalist, Mr. Babia Mubaric that the lunch was not without challenges has he literally went through hell to ensure the success of the show.”Mystical I swear I literally went through hell organizing this program as we witnessed clear sabotage but the program worked out”. I am not in a way trying to look down on other shows but like for the fact that we encountered all these heavy problems yet the program came on, I felt this should be on a serious blog. He added.
According to him, the lunch should be documented not only because of the money accrued from the show, but all that transpired leading to the success of the show should be on records.

The political oneness and unity track according to Glee Jeezy, is the third track in the list “One Ghana”. He gave explained that the main song of the EP “Dear God”, 50/50 and the other songs are social life songs.
