Mr. Awiniboya Fuseini Stephen
The young self agronomist who is in his late thirties by age changing the narrative in Wa East District in the Upper West Region in the field of agriculture in Ghana.
Mr. Awiniboya Fuseini Stephen started farming in the year 2015 whilst working as a field officer with an NGO and also an outgrower by the name of Masara A’ riziki.

He is a product of Kanton Senior High School in Tumu and had his first degree from the University for Development Studies and master’s degree from the University of Legon.
He went into full-time commercial farming in the year 2018.

He was adjudged the Upper West Regional Best Crop Farmer in the year 2021.
He is one of the few commercial farmers who have sought to save and conserve Shea trees in their farmlands despite the need for expansion in farmlands, and this has ended his admiration from my concerned persons.
His exploits in Agriculture have served as a source of livelihood for many around the area as they usually work as farm -hands.

He is into the cultivation of crops such as maize, soybeans, cowpeas, yam, and sesame. He is into the rearing of animals as well.
He hails from the Upper East but is now a resident in Funsi, the District capital of Wa East District in the Upper West Region.

Many youth in and around Funsi look up to him for inspiration and motivation in that area of Agriculture.
His vision is to turn his farmlands into a research hub for scholars and academics, where they can learn practically.
