He was bestowed with the promotion and award by the Controller General of Ghana Immigration Service at its headquarters Accra, Ghana. The ceremony was graced by the Controller General of the Ghana Immigration Service and top echelons of the Ghana Police service.
A circular captioned ” Promotion and decoration ceremony for meritorious act of bravery and velour by AICO II Nurideen Abdul – Ganiew Takra” was sent by the service ahead of the ceremony.
He has been promoted from AICO II to AICO I (Assistant Immigration Controller Officer I). His promotion has taken him one step ahead of his colleagues.
Mr Nurideen Abdul – Ganiew Takra, now AICO I was accompanied by his relatives and the former MP for Sisaala East, Hon. Ridwan Abass Dawda.
